Description
The defining characteristics are:
Analog inputs:
- 4 analog inputs individually configurable as voltage (0V to 2.048V, 0V to 10V), resistance or current (0 to 20 mA). Externally, the ranges can be extended.
- Two terminals per input for easy connection.
- It has an internal filter algorithm to eliminate unwanted noise in the measurements.
- The front LEDs can be configured to activate when the input is within or outside a predefined range.
- For each input a signal window can be defined, which can activate a Discrete Input when the signal is inside or outside this window, thus allowing the analog inputs to be used as digital inputs.
- The inputs record maximum and minimum values reached, which are stored in a Holding Register and can be reset as required.
Analog Outputs:
- 4 analog outputs from 0 to 10 V with a resolution of 2.4 mV per output.
- Each output has a transistor capable of supplying a current up to 100 mA and is short-circuitable.
- The unit incorporates a non-volatile memory in which parameters can be preprogrammed, such as:
- The initial values of the outputs when starting the module.
- The values to be acquired by the outputs when the equipment does not detect the presence of the control CPU.
- The LEDs on the front can also be configured to indicate whether the output is within or outside a predefined range.
