Luxmeter
This equipment measures ambient light by means of two OPT3001 sensors. These sensors give an accurate 23-bit reading, measuring values between 0.01 lux and 83 Klux.
They include a filter that eliminates 99% of infrared radiation, adjusting its sensitivity to that of the human eye.
If what is desired is to use the luminosity read to control public lighting systems, the ideal is to install the equipment on a north side facing the sensors towards the horizon without any direct light.
The unit is powered with a voltage between 12V and 24V and also includes a 10K NTC temperature input.
It is mounted inside an IP67 watertight box that can be mounted outdoors. The size of the box is 80x80x50 mm.
